It would not be a surprise to anyone if we recommended playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. However, it’s worth familiarizing yourself with the events of the third installment in the series. Both The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings are worth checking out for their own reasons. 

CD PROJEKT RED games catalog started with an adventure that’s the closest to a traditional RPG, while the next two shifted towards action RPGs. No matter how you look at these games, they take you right into a medieval-like fantasy world full of monsters (both from the bestiary and human realm) and fun activities you can do instead of rescuing the world.

 One of them is playing Gwent, which evolved into an extremely popular stand-alone game. TCG enthusiasts should feel at home immediately, as you can build different decks that focus on different abilities. You can defeat your opponents with brute strength, but no one’s stopping you from being a little cheeky and using a couple of tricks to prevail. This one is undoubtedly the most versatile of all games made by CD PROJEKT RED. 

We also got to see the vision of a rather dangerous future the studio showed us with Cyberpunk 2077. The game had a rough start to say at least. Still, after so many patches and hotfixes, it’s actually safe to play on PC. Sure, you might find a bug or two, although the title isn’t the only one with similar problems. 

On the surface, it’s a futuristic shooter with RPG elements. Deep inside, it’s got a captivating story that can rival the Witcher series. Some gameplay elements may be a bit lackluster, yet the world of Cyberpunk 2077 is worth exploring nonetheless.

There may not be too many games by CD PROJEKT RED, although you can see the pure passion for video games through their works. We’re hoping for the best, as Witcher 4 was officially announced already.
